Some places won’t let you be who you can be, Some places won’t let you be who you are meant to be.
Some places won’t allow you to share your gifts.

While other places love and cherish, praise and uplift.
While other places really see you and love the you you were really meant to be.

If you‘re in that one place that won’t let you share your gifts, it’s ok. It’s not the only place on Earth.

There are 200 million square miles and 7.5 billion people.

You’ll find your place, you’ll find your people.

That’s what I learned.

At a young age, changing 5 different schools in a tough neighborhood off of 8mile before middle school. Some I was mocked, bullied and outcast, but a few blocks down the road I was praised and favored, they were kind and so was I. They let me be who I was meant to be and I let them be who they wanted to be. We were artists, and athletes, dragon slayers and Pokémon capturers, we were our people, we were our place. So to the kids in school, remember if you feel out of place it’s not you, it’s just not your people, it’s just not your place. And that’s ok.

Throughout my 20’s traveling with the military from Michigan, Texas, Ohio, Florida, Maryland, Germany, Afghanistan, and more and all the adventures in between. You meet people, you find places. Some are meant to fade and some are meant to stay. But remember if you feel out of place it’s not you, it’s just not your people, it’s just not your place. And that’s ok.
